Vintage Cost Plus 14 Pc Japanese Tea Sake Set Blue Bamboo Made in Japan

Vintage Cost Plus Inc. Japanese Blue Bamboo 14-Piece Tea & Sake Set – Made in Japan

PLEASE NOTE: This set includes 6 small sake cups. One of the group photos accidentally shows only 5 cups, but the sixth cup is included and is shown in a separate photo. You will receive all 6 small cups as part of the complete 14-piece set.

Attractive vintage Japanese ceramic tea and sake service featuring a cobalt-blue bamboo design on a creamy white/pale celadon background with brown accent trim.

At least one piece retains the original Cost Plus, Inc., San Francisco, California – Made in Japan label.

14-piece set includes:

• 1 lidded teapot with woven/rattan-style handle and built-in ceramic strainer
• 6 larger handleless tea cups / yunomi
• 6 small footed sake cups
• 1 coordinating sake bottle/carafe

The teapot features a rounded body, long pouring spout, removable lid and decorative woven handle. The blue bamboo motif coordinates throughout the set.

Condition: Very good vintage condition overall. One piece has a small chip, photographed closely for full disclosure. I did not observe any additional chips or cracks. There is some normal vintage wear and minor discoloration/wear to portions of the brown trim. Please examine all photos carefully as they are part of the description.

A distinctive coordinated Japanese tea and sake service that displays beautifully and would make a great addition to a vintage Japanese ceramics, Cost Plus, Asian décor, tea or sake collection.

Again, although one group photo shows only five small cups, SIX are included with the set. The sixth cup can be seen in the separate cup photo.
