Vintage Graduated Brass Sleigh Crotal Bells on Leather Horse Harness Strap - Made in Taiwan
A striking set of vintage graduated brass sleigh crotal bells mounted on a leather horse harness strap. The arrangement features bells ranging from large to small, with several displaying decorative cast designs and traditional numbered or size markings.
Sets like this were traditionally fitted to horse harnesses and sleigh tack, with the graduated bell sizes producing a range of tones as the horse moved. Today, original harness bell sets have strong decorative appeal and are collected as examples of early equestrian, carriage, sleigh, and Americana equipment.
The combination of substantial brass bells, decorative detailing, and the long leather mounting strap makes this an especially attractive piece for an antique tack collection, rustic display, or period décor.
These bells are pre-owned in very good condition. Minor cracking in the leather and patina bells.
