Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible vintage mid-century "Cutie" brand doll carriage dating back to the late 1950s. This nostalgic toy is styled exactly like the full-size baby buggies of the era, featuring a classic red and white vinyl body, a folding canopy, and a chrome metal frame.
The original pink patterned interior liner is remarkably intact, proudly displaying the vibrant blue and white "Cutie" logo at the bottom.
Condition Details:
This pram is in excellent vintage condition for its age (nearly 70 years old!) and has been well-cared for.
- Vinyl & Canopy: The red and white vinyl is structurally sound and retains great color. There is one very tiny, minor hole on the vinyl canopy (visible upon close inspection) one small slit hole on the side, and a slit on the side of the canopy. See photos. Minor vintage discoloration here and there, but nothing that distracts from its display value.
- Frame & Hardware: The chrome folding frame and wheels are in great shape with minimal, light surface rust/pitting on the metal hardware, which is typical for its age and could easily be polished up further.
- Function: The carriage folds down smoothly and the wheels spin freely.
