About this product
Discover a unique piece of banking history with this vintage advertising matchbook from The National Bank of Albany, Georgia. The vibrant blue cover prominently features the bank's distinctive "nb.a" logo and full name, along with its P.O. Box, phone number (436-8421), and Albany, GA 31702 address. This collectible also notes the manufacturer as Diamond Match Div. from Atlanta, Georgia, indicating its mid-20th century origins.
The reverse side provides a fascinating glimpse into the bank's reach, listing "4 Convenient Locations" including the Main Office at 410 Broad Ave. and branches on S. Slappey Blvd., Dawson Road, and S. Mock Road. The slogan "MORE BANK FOR YOUR MONEY" reinforces its historical advertising appeal. This matchbook is a charming artifact for collectors of vintage advertising, banking memorabilia, or Georgia history.
