Discover a unique piece of Chicago's industrial history with this vintage matchbook from Revere Electric Supply Co. Featuring an intricate blue and white illustration of their building at 2501 Washington Blvd., this collectible item harks back to an era of classic advertising. The front proudly displays the company's name, their distinctive 'Messenger of Service' logo with a horse and rider, and the charmingly retro "STeley 8-3636" phone number, offering a glimpse into mid-20th century communication.
The reverse side reinforces Revere's reputation as "Chicago's Outstanding Electrical Distributor," complete with a smaller building graphic. Manufactured by the Diamond Match Division, this piece is not just a matchbook; it's a nostalgic artifact, perfect for collectors of Chicagoana, vintage advertising, or electrical history memorabilia. Its vibrant orange, blue, and white design showcases the aesthetics of the time, making it a fascinating addition to any collection.
