Large vintage Tree of Life woven fiber art wall hanging featuring an intricate dimensional dark-brown tree against a natural tan woven background.
The tree is constructed from thick natural fibers with individually formed branches, trunk and roots, giving the piece impressive depth and texture. The construction and style are consistent with vintage Indian jute/sisal fiber-art wall hangings frequently described as Don Freedman style.
Measures approximately 36” wide × 35.5” tall.
No signature, label or maker’s mark has been located, so this piece is not being represented as an authenticated Don Freedman work.
Pre-owned vintage condition with age-related wear, including some loose and frayed fibers. No maker’s label or signature found. Please see all photos, especially close-ups, for exact condition.
