Vtg Banthrico 1953 Chevy Corvette Car Bank Cast Metal Promo Toy Coin Piggy Gold

Up for sale is a beautiful vintage collectible cast metal figural vehicle coin bank manufactured by Banthrico Inc. Chicago (released circa 1974). Shaped as the legendary 1953 Chevrolet Corvette C1 Hardtop Coupe, this heavy, well-crafted promotional piece features a highly desirable antique gold/bronze-toned finish with a lovely metallic luster. The mold beautifully captures the historic first-year Corvette's signature design cues—including the mesh-covered headlamp style, toothy front grille layout, molded "Chevrolet" script on the front fenders, rear fender fins, and a classic "1953" license plate inscription on the front and rear bumpers.

Cosmetic Condition Notes: This bank is in Good Vintage Condition. The cast metal body is structurally sound with no cracks, warps, or deep impact damage. The gold finish exhibits a clean aesthetic appearance with mild natural aging and superficial wear typical of light display use over the years. Please note there are a couple of small, minor dark spots visible on the upper roof and hood surface as highlighted in the photo layout. The original bottom plate remains firmly intact, safely secured by its factory mounting screws, and clearly shows the Banthrico maker details. It has been gently detailed, inspected, and is ready for your display cabinet!
