Before placing your order, please inform us if your ADAT tapes have been spliced or cut. This is crucial to ensure proper handling and transfer quality.
2. How is the ADAT transfer done? What does "ADAT transfer" mean?
Transfer refers to our specialized process of converting your ADAT tapes to a flash drive or WAV file format. We extract up to 8 channels of audio per ADAT tape, accommodating 16, 32, or 48 tracks from multiple tapes for high-quality results.
3. Will I receive a major mixdown of my channels when I send in my ADAT tapes?
No, a full mixdown is not included. However, you'll receive a pre-mixdown of levels for 2 minutes on each channel during the session, ensuring that channel levels are balanced to -62 dB before transferring to your chosen format.

The waiting period generally ranges from 15 to 26 days, depending on your location and our current workload. Please plan accordingly to ensure timely receipt of your audio files.

Once we receive your ADAT tapes, we?ll upload the transfers and prepare your audio files, which can take about 3.5 weeks to complete. Please be patient as we may also be working on other projects during this time.

Yes, if you request one, two, or more ADAT tapes to be inserted for transfer, there is an additional $5 charge on top of the base price per tape.
