Beautifully hand-carved Jadeite Jade dragon pendant featuring natural multicolor tones of green, brown, and honey amber. The carving shows excellent depth and detail, with the dragon coiled around its symbolic flaming pearl — a traditional design representing wisdom, power, and protection. Measures approximately 2" tall by 1" wide and weighs 46 grams.
This piece was originally purchased years ago in San Francisco’s Chinatown, known for its long tradition of skilled jade artisans and cultural imports. The stone is cool to the touch and polished to a smooth shine, showing natural variations and inclusions typical of genuine jadeite.
It hangs from an adjustable woven cord with a small jade bead accent and includes a decorative red silk pouch. The pendant displays striking color transitions and lovely craftsmanship — substantial in weight, beautifully shaped, and full of character.
Exact material is untested but consistent with natural jadeite jade. No chips or cracks. A gorgeous piece for display or wear, from my late sister’s collection.
