Questar Telescope Mounting Rings

This listing is for 3D printed rings to mount to a Questar 3.5" telescope OTA (without the sliding dew shield). Compatible with the Duplex or Field Model (for a deforked standard model, plan on purchasing 2 rings to dovetail mount). Listing includes one ring of your choice, and with or without a Vixen dovetail (8" long with 8 holes for various mounting options) and 2 bolts for mounting. The rings both have a 1/4"-20 central mounting hole on the bottom for attaching to a dovetail and have an opening at the bottom of the rings to allow the finderscope to still function without being blocked. Ring options include one with a 1/4"-20 mounting hole on top for attaching other accessories, a standard Synta style finder shoe bracket at the top for attaching things like finderscopes, red dot finder, laser finder, solar finder, etc, or a similar but with 2 finder shoe brackets 45-degrees offset from the top. Rings are hinged with a nice ergonomic knob for tensioning the ring and the inside of the ring is felt lined to prevent any scratching of the delicate Questar tube finish. All parts are printed with thick wall, heavy infill and use PETG filament so they are strong, heat and UV resistant and long lasting using all metal connectors. Also available with just a simple round bottom if you only want to attach accessories and don't plan to use the rings for mounting purposes.
