Upgrade your vintage Astro Trac with our premium airless rover-type tires, inspired by the legendary designs of NASA’s Mars rovers. These two high-performance tires offer a perfect fit for the original size but deliver far greater durability than foam versions.
Key Features:
- 100% airless, flexible construction: No more foam collapse or aging.
- Same dimensions as the stock Astro Trac wheels, direct replacement.
- Durable TPU/rubber blend (or specify your material) for improved wear resistance.
- Easy to install: just stretch onto rim, no tools required (see precautions).
- Ideal for display or play: maintains the authentic rover aesthetic while enhancing performance.
- Compatible with both Curiosity-style and Perseverance-style tread patterns (choose your band style).
- Perfect for collectors, restorers, and custom modders of the Major Matt Mason series.
Installation & Care Tips:
- Stretch the tire gently over the rim—ensure full seating.
- Important: Never apply force to the axle when fitting the tire. Pressing the axle can damage the ring and rim mechanism.
- When removing: insert a small screwdriver between rim and tire, push through fully and gently lever outward—again, avoid stress on the axle.
- Rinse with water if used in rough play; avoid exposure to high heat or harsh solvents to preserve flexibility.
What’s Included:
- 2 x Airless Rover-Type Tires (pair)
- Installation reminder card
- Worldwide shipping available
Transform your Astro Trac into a high-performance lunar-crawler with tires built to flex and made to last.
